Oh baby!

My geese had their babies! Goslings, to be correct.

Goslings

Cute, fluffy goslings!

Another cute Gosling!

Okay, back to reality. The parents (not Ryan’s parents) are extremely protective (I’m sure Ryan’s parents were protective too!). The male hissed whenever I got too near with the camera. He seems to have forgotten it was me who provided sustenance for the past month and a half.

Although three chicks is a small number for a Canadian goose brood (most average around six to eight) and even though there isn’t a shortage of Canadian geese, hopefully the river will be kind and allow the chicks to grow.  Now I just need Angie to bring her brood around for a visit. (If Angelina Jolie wanted to bring her brood, that would be way cool too!)

Blessed be :}

About tinthia

Wondering, searching, and wandering, I'm an earth witch with a desire to get it right in my lifetime. The flow of the river feeds my inner goddess and fuels my soul. Blessed be. :}
