It was one year ago today when I saw my little corner of the Concord River and fell in love instantly. It wasn’t the fact that I had seen soooooo many houses, over the previous months, with faulty wiring, moldy basements, rotted windows, and roofs that were, in fact, none exsistant. Yes, the housing market in my price range left quite a bit to be desired. No. It was the beauty of the location, the serenity, if you will, of the river.
Standing in the yard, I inhaled deeply and listened to the melodic coo of a morning dove and dulcet tones of Mother Nature. I knew I had finally met my soul mate. I was home.
Next came a dramatic call to my realtor. The rest, as the saying goes, is history.
Live, and love, at first sight. Blessed be :}
