Ludwig van Beethoven loved nature. This I learned from reading his many quotes about the joy he found wandering among the outskirts of Vienna and Bonn. I wish I could have walked with him. Since there would have been a language barrier, he could have hummed, speaking in that glorious language called music. I would have understood every word.

Anyway, back to New England. This past weekend brought fierce thunderstorms to the Concord River. It’s been a long time since we had a drenching rain and the plants in my gardens were thrilled to be able to take a long, deep drink.
Intermission provided a brilliant color show. Mother Nature dipped her paintbrush into cerulean blue, indigo, crimson, and sunshine yellow to create a masterpiece over the river. Grabbing the pot of gold was as easy as stepping out onto my porch.
I made a wish and watched as the clouds consumed the colors. More thunder, lightning, and rain arrived moments later. You might ask how I got to Beethoven via thunderstorms over the Concord River. Well, listen and you’ll understand. Blessed be :}
love the rainbow! love the clouds too!
Yes, the clouds are impressive. I had them flown in just for the storm. 🙂
