Mama, don’t leave me!!!

Mama goose and Papa goose stopped over for a visit, goslings in tow. Only two are left, one of them either fed a snapping turtle, carp, or fisher. What should have began as a clutch of six is getting mighty small. I’m aware there isn’t a shortage of Canadian geese but being up close and personal does tug on my heartstrings.

The visit started out peaceful enough, until the crazy woman who lives in the house, ran out with her camera. Watch the mayhem.

All ended well. I gently picked-up the chick and brought him (her?) to the beach, but Mama and Papa didn’t seem grateful at all!!! Jeeze, a thank you would have been nice.

You're welcome!!!

You’re welcome!!!

Blessed be :}
