The rain, rain, rain came down, down, down!

And the Concord River rose up, up, up. Rain yesterday and more rain today. There are two rocks on the opposite shore that I use to measure the water height. When the rocks disappear, I need to worry.

Rocks, two days ago, March 29.

Rocks today, March 31. Let the worrying begin.

As I’m writing this post, there’s an gutteral noise from my basement. Sounds like the washing machine emptying during its spin cycle. Wait! I don’t own a washing machine! Oh no, the sump pump is running! (Yeah to me for installing it correctly! Oh no, that means there’s water coming into the basement!!) I should investigate the situation (or make another cup of coffee). Hmmmm, some decisions are soooo difficult.

I hope you stay dry. Blessed be :}
