Get Ready for Ruby-throated Hummingbirds This Spring!

The Ruby-throated hummingbirds are heading up the eastern portion of the United States.

And, after traveling thousands of miles (over 2,000), they will be hun-gah-reeeee! So get those nectar feeders ready.

Do you recall how to make hummingbird nectar? No? Well, this video might help.

If you’re lucky, someone might give you a hummingbird feeder/camera system like the one I received.

I’m excited to think of the cool photos and videos I’ll get when my Ruby-throated hummingbirds arrive. Until then, however, the Downy woodpeckers will have to do.
